1 Love Festival Concert at The Ramkat

June 27, 2026 | Doors open at 7PM

  • Chelsey Green and The Green Project

Described as “passionate, electrifying, and innovative” international recording artist Chelsey Green breaks down stereotypes of traditional violin and viola playing. A native of Houston, Texas, Dr. Chelsey Green is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, entrepreneur and educator that combines Classical and Contemporary to make music uniquely her own.

  • Djembe Monks

Djembe Monks are more than just a band; they are a vibrant collective that embodies the spirit of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, and its dynamic musical energy. Since their emergence in 2010, they have carved a unique space in the music scene by seamlessly fusing the pulsa8ng rhythms of House music with the rich, ancestral sounds of traditional African drumming. This innovative blend has established them as a prominent and influential force, both locally and internationally.

The core of Djembe Monks consists of three key members, each bringing their distinct expertise to the table:

    • Emmanuel Nkomo (Root): The rhythmic backbone and driving force behind Djembe Monks' percussion.

    • Ngqabutho Ncube (Slimzar Wa Afrika): The DJ and selector, Slimzar Wa Afrika provides the foundation of House music upon which the Djembe Monks' sound is built.

    • Khotso Nare: The studio wizard and music producer, Khotso Nare is the architect of Djembe Monks' recorded sound.

  • DJ SK

A Performer like DJ SK is of a dying breed. For over a decade, the indefatigable performer has established some of the region’s most successful parties, championed a generation of local artists, and invested heavily in the musical culture in his community. Born Jodi Kimball, SK caught the DJ bug early on, thanks to an unlikely scratch tutorial on Sesame Street. Acquiring turntables soon after acquiring a driver’s license, SK was reared in hip-hop at its arguable precipice, lending a hand in shaping SK’s technically exceptional manner of mixing.

We’re Excited to See You at 1 LOVE FESTIVAL 2026!
